The Reasons

There are reasons why I haven't updated....

My 100th post is due up soon and I have been working on it diligently, but two weeks in and I am on #70, and already sick of myself. So you all have that to look forward to :)

I am currently obsessed, yes certifiably obsessed, with KOL right now. Any free moment I have is spent trying to find where I can accidentally run into them while we are in St Louie to see their show in about a month.

The puppers is a lot of work; good work, but a lot of work.

The garage sale, oh the garage sale, was a true test of my patience. I failed. F+.

On the upside, The Chiefs beat the Broncos two days ago! Take that Shanahan!

Just some randomness from my life....

Cash-esh, as we have come to call him, with his ball.

My Brosef gave me this vino, it was delish =)

This guy destroyed my bird feeder...as you can see.

1 Year Later...

Here's the update folks! I ate our wedding cake topper, but not the hubs. To quote him, "You think I'm going to eat something that has been in THAT freezer for 1 year. No thanks." The cake was still delicious, (thanks Mom), the frosting, not so great, but still...Thanks Mom! I talked to a girl who got married two days after us, she said the same thing :)
Curry was awesome, I think it might be my new favorite dish. We got to use our hand carved chopsticks from Japan---Thanks Apostles! These chopsticks are so cool, probably the coolest thing in my kitchen actually.

We have some additions to our kitchen...Murph and I had been saving a gift certificate we received for our wedding and we went shopping the other day. We went to Prydes, a really cool kitchen store in Westport. I finally got a mortal and pestle. Something I've wanted since I was a kid; I love how archaic they are.

Also on the shopping front...
I recieved a gift certificate from Mike and Jess (*thanks guys;) I loves you)for my birthday and my first purchase was a bank. I have recently been keeping my change in an old water bottle, which I guess does the job but isn't very appeasing to the eye. I ordered a chrome plated owl bank and I totally love it. Its much more me.

Muchos love from the Glannon part of the world!

Can you all believe it has been a freakin' year already? I'll update this post throughout the day....

While on our honeymoon, Murphy and I passed this glorious looking field. These went on for what seemed like miles, and were so breathtaking. I finally convinced him to pull over for a picture, but being the novice photog, I had to take like a million shots to get the right one. I am short and the fence kept getting in the way which was really bumming me out, so I tried to stick my camera between the railings.

Mind you Murphy is in the van, looking at the map, trying to decide where to go next. Point being, he's not looking at me. So he didn't see me when I went flying into the roadside ditch after being shocked by the electric fence I was sticking my head into.

I stood up, wondering how I got on the ground, and looked to my husband (Whose head was down reading a map). I looked to the fence. I walked to the van in a sort of stunned manner, got in, and we started to drive. About 30 seconds down the road, I said aloud, "I got electrocuted by that fence and it knocked me on my a**!"
Murph slams on the brakes and makes me repeat the alphabet, my name and address, and my current location.

But the picture is really nice huh?

Ok, so that is one random story that came up as I was looking through pictures from Arizona.

ABOUT DINNER!!! We have recently been on this Thai food kick and Murphy is making curry tonight.

...see our wedding cake topper in the background? :) (Neither my hubs nor I ate any wedding cake at our reception)

September 12th

Hey all out there in blog world! Sorry I have been a bit absent (I know, story of my life). Today is a big day for a few ladies (& a Gent) I know and I wanted to wish them a happy one.

The first birthday wish goes out to a little one celebrating her 1st! Happy Day to you Elena! Thank you so much for letting us borrow your Aunt Jess on the day you were born, my biggest memory of my rehearsal dinner is you being born. Can't wait to meet you someday!

And Happy day to you Christina, just a reminder, you will always be 4 years older than me! That was such a privilege when we were young, changes a bit the older we get =)

And a very happy anniversary to my brother and his wife, Mike and Jess. You two bless my life and so many others in so many ways, I am so happy you have one another. Here's to another amazing year of adventures!

Love ya all!!!
